Who are we?

Journey Covenant Church is a community of followers of Jesus Christ who want to share the grace and love of God and grow in His Word.

Journey was started by Rolling Hills Covenant Church in 2002 by one of their staff pastors, Jim Stewart. Through the years Journey church met in homes, parks, and public grade schools and is now sharing church facilities with Tree of Life Church (formerly South Bay Church of the Brethren) and Visionland, a Korean church, with each congregation maintaining its own identity and ministry. Journey's worship service is at 9:00 a.m., Tree of life at 10:45 a.m., and Visionland at 1:00 p.m. Journey also has a teen program at 10:45 a.m.

Journey is uniquely known for its welcoming, casual atmosphere, its annual summer camp for families of children with autism, and its active involvement with a mission church in San Fernando, Philippines.

The Evangelical Covenant church (ECC) is a rapidly growing multi-ethnic denomination in the United States and Canada with ministries on five continents. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the ECC values the Bible as the Word of God, the gift of God's grace and ever-deepening spiritual life that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, the importance of extending God's love and compassion to a hurting world, and the strength that comes from unity within diversity.
