Membership

Membership in Journey Covenant Church is granted to those who through faith in Jesus Christ, have been born again through the Holy Spirit, have been baptized according to the Holy Scriptures and promise to faithfully support the mission, ministries, and policies of the church and to share in its fellowship and obligations. -JCC Constitution

Process for Membership

1. Attend a Membership Class. Membership Classes are scheduled several times a year. Call the church office (310-947-2938) for the next class.
2. Complete a Membership Application and mail it to the church office (340 Van Ness, Unit A-Second Floor, Torrance, 90501) or give it to Pastor Jim.

3. The Leadership Team reviews and approves membership.

Benefits of Membership

• 1. Ability to vote at the Annual Meeting, usually held in June each year.
• 2. Eligibility to serve on the Leadership Team
• 3. Eligibility to serve as a leader of a ministry team.

You do not need to become a member to attend Journey Church and participate in activities. However, if you are ready to commit to serving at a deeper level, you may choose to become a voting member. Anyone who accepts Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior is cordially invited to become a member of Journey Covenant Church.
